St. John is looking for a Senior Social Media Strategist!

We want a Superstar to spearhead social media efforts for a leading financial services brand. In this role, you will craft and execute strategies that align with the client’s objectives, create engaging content, manage social media channels, and analyze performance metrics. Your work will be crucial in strengthening the client’s online presence and fostering meaningful connections with their audience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategy Development: Develop and implement comprehensive social media strategies to increase brand awareness, drive engagement, and generate leads.
  • Content Creation: Oversee and curate compelling content tailored to various social media platforms, including text, images, and videos. Ensure content aligns with the brand’s voice and messaging.
  • Channel Management: Own day-to-day management of social media channels (e.g., Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn).
  • Audience Engagement: Monitor and respond to comments and messages in a timely manner, engage with the online community, build relationships, and foster conversations to drive brand loyalty and advocacy.
  • Analytics and Reporting: Track, analyze, and report on key performance metrics. Provide insights and recommendations based on data to enhance social media strategy and performance.
  • Trend Monitoring: Stay updated on social media trends, industry developments, and emerging technologies. Apply relevant trends to the brand’s social media strategy.
  • Campaign Execution: Contribute to social media campaigns, including paid advertising, influencer partnerships, and promotions. Monitor and optimize campaign performance.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including account, PR, and design, to ensure cohesive brand messaging and integrated campaigns.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, social media, or a related field.
  • Proven experience (3+ years) as a social media strategist or similar role, preferably within the financial services sector.
  • Strong preference for candidates with previous agency experience, demonstrating a track record of managing diverse client accounts and executing successful campaigns.
  • Strong understanding of social media platforms, tools, and best practices.
  • Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in social media analytics tools (e.g., Sprout Social).
  • Ability to develop and execute data-driven strategies.
  • Creative thinker with strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Experience with paid social media advertising and campaign management is a plus.
